In 2008, Rianne van Essen established the Dutch brand Gezinnig, a subtraction of the words family (gezin) and meaningful (zinnig). After becoming a mother, she combined her background in communication with entrepreneurship as part of a clear mission: to increase connection between children and parents.
showUP has become known as the most inspiring Dutch trade show for home & gift. showUP focuses on buyers from home & gift stores, concept stores, webshops, department stores and museum stores. Stylists, press and bloggers also come along to get inspired.
More than 300 international exhibitors are present at showUP. Varying from small starting labels and young designers to well-known brands from all over Europe. And that is what makes showUP so charming: big international brands stand side to side with upcoming labels and young designers.
The next edition will be held in Expo Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen on 2-3 February 2025.
